It's so weird where I can get inspiration, and how easily it comes.

I was sitting in the lobby of the eye doctor in Costco today, waiting for my sister. Someone left the door open and all the noise was coming in. So, I reached over and shut the door. When I did, it all went quiet and the air was nice and cool, and suddenly this image popped into my head of a married couple in a noisy apartment, and the husband gets up to close the window, and it suddenly goes quiet and he grins....

And then I asked the secretary, "Do you have a piece of paper I can use?" And I jotted this down. I am pretty proud. It's not spectacular writing or anything, but I really enjoyed having one little tiny insignificant thing happen and this entire thing suddenly flooded into my brain. It was nice; like a writing high.
